Accounting Specialist - Contrato eventual por 1 año

Main Purpose:

• Be responsible, referent and act as focal point for accounting and internal control related matters.

• Expert in hyperinflation adjustment local GAAP accounting guidelines.

• Be referent and demonstrate solid accounting knowledge ante expertise in several closing activities and accounting processes.

• Deloitte auditors and legal consultancy.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Assures compliance with accounting standards (IFRS).

• Responsible for performing and ensuring timely completeness and accuracy of monthly closing process and reporting: Currency Revaluation and Translation Processes, monthly closing journal entries/job runs that include both transactional postings in P08 as well as accountability to ensure its accuracy and reasonableness, bonds purchase and sale accounting process, loans & interests accounting, among others.
• Referent for statutory reporting local GAAP process.
• Responsible for Argentina hyperinflation adjustments for local statutory reports (fixed assets, equity, global AAI proof).
• Technical Revaluation of Fixed Assets for local GAAP.
• Gives support to internal and external audit processes.
• Accounts Reconciliations, follow up and process improvement.
• SAP specialist: Gives support in complex matters of the area for all businesses.

Unlock your potential:

• University degree in Accounting.

• Knowledge of IFRS & local GAAP reporting requirements (specially Adjustment per Inflation for Fixed Assets local GAAP).

• Thorough knowledge of the global accounting closing processes.

• Fluent/intermediate in English, both spoken and written.

• SAP

• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS Office (Power Point, Share Point)

• Good communication skills.

• Strong result-oriented, methodical and efficiency-driven skills.

• Good analytical, conceptual, and strategic skills. Ability to identify process optimization.

• Ability to collaborate and work under pressure with high flexibility in changing and complex environments.
