About the Opportunity
Fairfield Hospital is seeking adaptable, committed, and enthusiastic Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join our dynamic 2A Ward. This role is ideal for those looking to expand their skills and gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment. You will be working alongside a dedicated team caring for a diverse patient base, including acute respiratory, surgical, and medical admissions, providing essential support to both patients and the nursing team.
In this role, you will receive guidance from a full-time Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) and have regular access to specialized nursing staff, including Palliative Care, Respiratory, and Wound Care Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS). With strong backing from a Multidisciplinary team and a dedicated Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you will be part of a highly supportive work environment. What You'll be Doing
The Assistant In Nursing will assist the registered nurse and enrolled nurse with the planning, provision and documentation of patient care, working within the framework of the policies of SWSLHD, the Ministry of Health and the NSW legislative and statutory requirements.

The hospital sits close to public transport (T-Way), Public Schools, a major shopping centre and has an onsite cafeteria. Ample onsite parking is available with only a short walk from the carpark to the hospital.
