We are looking for an Business Development Manager - Channel Partners to join our Flow Division team in Australia .
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Driving sales of Sulzer Submersible Pumps, Mixers & Grinders to new and existing business partners.
- Planning, supporting and following-up of sales activities in-line with the sales strategy and defined processes.
- Developing and maintaining a product training for existing and new Flow Business partners.
- Monitor the performance for key business partners and take remedial action where necessary to ensure that targets are met.
- Liaise and work closely together with the Sales Manager - Pacific and the Service teams with customers.
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers.
- Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
- Ensure orders and projects are launched in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers in order to reduce commercial risk and to maximize future business opportunities.
- Maintain and monitor up to date knowledge of competitor products and activities.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities, maximizing the potential of Sulzer’s complete product offering in the targeted sub-segments.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years experience in Pump product sales
- Strong, detailed knowledge and experience with Submersible Pumps, Mixers & Grinders.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Strong communication skills.
- High level negotiation skills.
