The role This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to service quality standards, health, and safety policies while supporting the administrative and operational functions of the Health Protection Branch. Key duties include facilitating the purchasing, receipting, and payment of goods and supplies using S4/HANA and corporate credit cards in compliance with departmental policies. Additionally, the role involves assisting with payroll management through Queensland Health's My HR system to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll information.
The position also serves as the travel coordinator, handling travel requests through the Corporate Travel Management Booking system. Further responsibilities include managing loan equipment, go cards, taxi vouchers, and maintaining registers with reconciliation processes. The successful candidate will provide technical support for video and teleconferencing equipment and manage the Health Protection Branch's main telephone line, addressing general public inquiries related to branch functions.
The successful person To excel in this position, you should have a strong understanding of financial policies and procedures and be proficient with the S4/HANA program, or be able to quickly learn it. Additionally, you should be well-versed in Human Resource policies and procedures and proficient with the My HR program, or have the ability to gain these skills.
Furthermore, you should have a solid grasp of Travel policies and procedures and be skilled in using the Corporate Travel Management booking system, or be capable of learning it. Basic technical knowledge of communication programs such as Teams is also required, or the ability to acquire these skills.
