Description:
The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Permanent Full-Time Chef Manager at our site in Semaphore Park.

Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen.

Roster: Monday to Friday 9.00AM - 5.30PM

What This Role Involves:
Preparing foods including texture-modified foods
Ability to work independently performing various kitchen tasks
Managing bulk cooking efficiently
Delivering excellent customer service to enhance residents' dining experiences
Assisting the broader team as required
Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices

Skills and Experiences:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Must have experience managing large teams of up to 25 staff members
Knowledge on IDDSI standards
Experience in rostering & budget management (food & labour costs)
Aged care knowledge preferred but not essential
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
RSA
Possessing a valid driver's license and having access to a car (Preferred)
