About the role:
This role will see you provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Emergency Department at Tamworth Hospital, assisting patients, visitors, doctors, and nurses.
To ensure your success in this role, training and orientation will be provided, as well as ongoing support by the Emergency Department Team, Patient Services Manager, Team Leader, and Administrative Team.

Tamworth Hospital is a major referral hospital located in the northern region of the Hunter New England Local Health District. Recently refurbished to boast brand new, state of the art facilities, our 288-bed facility includes Intensive Care, rehabilitation services, a Brain Injury Unit, Diabetes Centre and high dependency unit.
Tamworth Hospital provides the perfect platform for Administration Officers to expand their Administration experience and expertise.
About You:
To be successful in this position, you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as superior time management and attention to detail. You will be a dedicated and enthusiastic team player with the ability to think on your feet and complete work within allocated timeframes. You will be available to work shift work.
There will also be opportunity to extend your knowledge and gain experience in other positions, including other Administration positions within the Patient Services Department.

Additional Information:
- To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
