About the role

We're currently looking for an experienced, collaborative, and energetic Country HR Manager with a passion for contributing to a high performance, customer focused and inclusive culture to join our team based in Sydney, Australia.
In this role you'll be be a key member of the Leadership Team and will be accountable for continuing to drive people related transformation initiatives and change programs across the region.
Partnering with the Managing Director and the broader Leadership Team, you'll also bring creative and effective short and long-term solutions to a growing organisation.

Main responsibilities

In this role you'll:

  • Execute, plan and implement both tactical and strategic HR and Talent Management processes (incl talent review and succession planning), partnering with the Regional MD, VP HR and fellow Leadership Team members
  • Manage the talent acquisition and retention process and initiatives, ensuring the best diverse talent is attracted and retained
  • Champion performance management and employee development programs creating an environment of professional growth and one that supports our desire to be an employer of choice
  • Work closely with the Regional Leadership Team ensuring appropriate team structures and rewards are in place to support the region in effectively delivering its strategy
  • Provide coaching and consulting to the Regional Leadership Team in order to support the region's overall objectives and foster and promote a high growth, high engagement & inclusive work environment .
  • Attract, develop, mentor and retain talent to ensure an engaged workforce that supports the delivery of current and future business goals
  • Manage day to day employee and labour issues - provide employee relations guidance and support
  • As a member of Leviat global HR leadership team, collaborate with other HR Leads in order to align and to implement the global people and talent agenda


Experience & qualifications

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or an equivalent in working experience.
  • Demonstrable experience working as an HR Business Partner in a matrix environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in industry/engineering/manufacturing organisation
  • Developed leadership & people skills with an ability to influence
  • Demonstrable change management experience
  • Proven and successful problem solving experience leading to sustainable employee/employer relations
  • A passion for driving an inclusion and diversity agenda
  • High energy and a change adopter mindset
