The Opportunity
As a graduate with Local Land Services, you will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills gained through your university degree in a dynamic, supportive organisation focused on enhancing outcomes for regional communities, agriculture and the environment. With over 80 offices across regional NSW our 12 month graduate program provides absolute frontline experience in sustainable agriculture, environmental science and land management as well as delivering the lifestyle benefits that only living regionally can offer.
Our extension services support our rural communities and landholders to manage land and resources sustainably. We help with providing a comprehensive and tailored approach to rural development, foster sustainable land management and promote long term well being of agricultural systems and the environment.
The program is divided into two streams:
Sustainable Agriculture
From agronomists to livestock officers, we work with a diverse range of customers, industries, and partners to strengthen agriculture for NSW. Our teams facilitate workshops and events, conduct on-farm inspections and provide seasonal updates and advice, all while utilising the latest technology and innovation into growing, grazing and land management.

Our teams work together across the state to manage travelling stock reserves and areas of significance to Aboriginal culture and communities for biodiversity outcomes. We also engage with local communities on landscape management to ensure we all work together to look after our beautiful native flora and fauna.
