Job Location: Margaret River - Western Australia
We are seeking casual, part-time and full-time Handyperson/grounds to join our maintenance/grounds team in the beautiful South West Region of Western Australia, in Margaret River, with a friendly positive can-do attitude.

West Australian owned and operated, our parks and accommodation cater for all types of travellers from those seeking a nature-based holiday/outdoor experience to those wanting more comfort in self-contained, private accommodation.
The Role
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team. You will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of our grounds and gardens, as well as maintenance of our rooms and chalets and communal areas.
You will have the ability to work in a physical role, enjoy working around people and be able to communicate easily and confidently. You will take pride in your appearance, be self-motivated, have an eye for detail, a passion for maintenance, grounds and gardens, and a willingness to learn and apply learnt knowledge.
You will be competent in the use of ride on mowers, hedge trimmers, whipper snippers, and high-powered hand tools.
You will be able to work across a 7-day roster, weekends and public holidays as needed.
The Ideal Candidate will possess the following key attributes and experience.

• Previous experience in grounds and property maintenance in a hospitality environment.
• The successful applicant will require a Drivers Licence.
• Will demonstrate a passion for customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
• Ability to time manage and work autonomously.
• First Aid Certificate (or willing to complete)
• Swimming Pool Course Certificate an advantage (or willing to complete)
• Trade qualification an advantage i.e. painter, carpenter, bricklayer etc..
• A good Understanding of WH&S responsibilities

The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
