About the Role

• Service and clean guest rooms ensuring that rooms are immaculately presented to facility standards and as required.
• Follow all OHS requirements and standards for the workplace including handling amenities, chemicals and equipment
• To maintain a safe, efficient and harmonious workplace.
• To always maintain work areas in a neat and tidy state.
• Maintain professional and respectful relationships with hotel management and guests
• Assist with other housekeeping and cleaning duties as required

About you

• You're an energetic, passionate individual with experience as a Cleaner/Room Attendant or alternatively you're someone with a great attitude and willingness to learn, as training will be provided to the right candidates
• You're willing to go the extra mile to provide a memorable guest experience
• You ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene for your guests
• You enjoy working with people and love being part of a team of individuals who serves and cares about others
• You work fast and thoroughly with excellent attention to detail
• You're professional, respectful and have excellent communication and customer service skills
• You have good time management and organisational skills
• You're able to follow direction and work independently
• You know how to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• You have flexibility to work across a 7 -day shift arrangement. Shifts are 4-6 hrs.
• A Police check is required for those over 21 years of age.

Rates of Pay
Hospitality Industry Award Rates are payable. Rates start at $14.99 for those 17 years and over and $31.23 for those 21 years and over.
