If you are an undergraduate Business/IT/Computer Science/AI student, we have an exciting opportunity for a 6-weeks paid internship based at our Brisbane office.
Our International Applications team are looking for an IT Intern to gain experience in one or more of the following areas: Application Development, Project Management, Support and Testing.
Our team works closely with the business to develop enhancements and fix issues in a Claims management application. Some parts of the team like Application Support are Client facing and work directly with Clients to ensure issues, if any, are resolved in a timely manner.
You will work with our International Platform Manager, and wider team, to review and provide improvement recommendations for our claims operating system or work practices. Aside from the regular coaching and support from your manager and team, there will be ongoing interaction with the wider intern group. At the end of the six-week program, we hope you would have gained valuable insight into the insurance industry and a possible career with GB.

Are you studying and/or qualified in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence (or similar disciplines) then this may be what you are looking for.
You don’t have to have insurance, claims or corporate work experience, but a passion for learning, dedication to service and a motivated disposition.

1) You are a domestic student, with Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
2) You are scheduled to complete your studies in 2025 or later
3) You are available to undertake your internship between the dates of 7 January 2025 – 14 February 2025
