Role
The Lead Integration Architect will be at the forefront of designing and overseeing the implementation of integration solutions using the Mule Soft platform. This strategic role involves leading governance activities, establishing best practices, and ensuring that integration solutions are reusable, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the company's long-term objectives.

Role
The Lead Integration Architect will be at the forefront of designing and overseeing the implementation of integration solutions using the Mule Soft platform. This strategic role involves leading governance activities, establishing best practices, and ensuring that integration solutions are reusable, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the company's long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and govern enterprise-level integration solutions using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform and other integration solutions like SAP BTP.
- Lead and mentor the integration team, onshore and offshore, setting high standards for design and implementation.
- Drive the development of integration governance policies and procedures. Refine and maintain adherence to standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust integration architectures.
- Champion API-led connectivity and ensure adherence to Mule Soft's design principles across the organization.
- Provide thought leadership in integration strategy and innovation.
- Oversee performance metrics and ensure optimization of all integration solutions.
- Maintain alignment with KPMG's architecture practice, staying informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and evolving standards to continuously improve integration architecture capabilities.
- Develop and communicate architecture guidelines, design patterns, and standards to be followed in integration projects, fostering consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
- Serve as the custodian of all existing integration assets across the organization, with particular focus on reusable assets registered in Any point Exchange, ensuring their proper management, governance, and utilization in integration projects.
- Evangelize Capability Excellence: Promote the excellence of the Mule Soft capability within CTG. This includes organizing evangelization sessions, fostering relationships with the Mule Soft vendor.
- You enjoy working in the details, with a proactive attitude towards accuracy and deadlines.
- You are a relationship builder, with keen communication skills and the knack for building and managing relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- You are able to digest, distil, and communicate complex concepts in both written and verbal forms.
- You have a can-do attitude with the help of the right technical tools and a supportive team.
- You are a strategic, analytical, and critical thinker, love using that skill to solve complex problems and plan for the future and always seeking creative solutions to problems.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in integration architecture, with at least 5 years dedicated to Mule Soft platform and governance activities.
- Extensive experience as an Integration Architect, with a significant focus on Mule Soft solutions and governance.
- Demonstrated leadership in establishing integration best practices and governance frameworks.
- Deep experience of integration and API architecture - and a thorough understanding of industry trends, vendors, frameworks, and practices
- Has worked in a Dev Ops culture and understands the agile delivery principles and quality software engineering processes and practice.
- Experience with either RAML or OAS
- Knowledge of security (authentication and authorization, encryption)
- Knowledge of infrastructure
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ideally experience in a professional services firm
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification (Masters or Bachelor’s degree) in a relevant field.
- Advanced certifications in Mule Soft or related fields are preferred.
