The Opportunity
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Logistics professional to join our Thunderbird Ag team and contribute to the continued success and growth of our Mudgee commercial site. As the Logistics Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective direction of warehouse, inventory and operations systems and processes relating to customer orders, product storage and inventory integrity.
Reporting to the Thunderbird Commercial Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting improvement and service transparency and will collaborate with the wider Gallagher Group based across Australia and in our head office in New Zealand to implement best practice and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The Fit
With a proven track record in a warehouse and logistics operations leadership role, you’ll be passionate about continuous improvement and motivating others to drive great results. You’re a strategic thinker, with the ability to understand our unique strategy which blends our “global company” focus with “thinking local” execution. To succeed in this role you’ll also have:

Strong team leadership and mentoring skills.
In-depth knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations.
Exposure to, or interest in, the agricultural industry.
Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite (specifically Excel, Word and Power Point).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
