The Network Access Coordinator manages all Rail Network Access applications from all stakeholders and approves such requests in accordance with the Adelaide Metropolitan Passenger Rail Network (AMPRN) Rules and Procedures and in conjunction with the Rail Safety National Law (South Australia) Act 2012 (RSNL).
The Network Access Coordinator ensures all applications for network access are processed in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with network application processes while simultaneously updating and maintaining the Train Notice database management system to encompass all stakeholders. The Network Access Coordinator will undertake day to day coordination of the Rail Operations Centre to ensure the delivery of efficient, safe and customer focused outcomes.
The Network Access Coordinator is responsible for undertaking a range of functions including but not limited to reporting functions associated with operational and regulatory obligations, rostering of operational staff in line with business rules and rail safety management system requirements and ensuring equipment supplies are maintained for all areas.

Qualifications/Experience
Required:
- Qualified in AMPRN Rules and Procedures
- First Aid Certificate
- Current Driver’s License
- Certificate IV in Security & Risk Management
A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
Safety Critical Worker Category 2 clearance and subject to periodic health assessments as per RSNL.
All Rail Safety Workers must carry out duties in accordance with the RSNL and as outlined within the Rail Commissioner’s Safety Management System.
The role will work office hours but may also cater to occasional ‘on call’ requirements and some intra/interstate travel may be required.

ASO5 - $85,790 to $95,413 per annum
