Salary $121,537.00- $126,970.00 RN/M3 (Pro Rata) | Full Time – Contract Until October 2025 with potential to extend

Are you a Nurse Unit Manager looking to make a difference in Southern Adelaide's local community?
Employees classified at this level use their clinical knowledge and experience to provide the pivotal co-ordination of patient/client care. As the Nurse Unit Manager, the role will include line management, coordination and leadership of nursing/midwifery and/or multi-disciplinary team activities to achieve continuity and quality of patient/client care and outcomes.
About the role:
Reporting to the Nursing Director Outpatient Support Services, as the Nurse Unit Manager, duties for the role may include:

Provide the pivotal leadership and co-ordination of patient/client care delivery to achieve continuity and quality of patient/client care and outcomes and efficient patient/client flow
Monitoring, reporting and adherence to resources allocations
Identifying hazards, assessing risks and implementing, monitoring and maintaining hazard control measures
Provides leadership and direction, acts as a role model, mentor, consultant and resource person

About you:

Ability to work with all specialties, multidisciplinary teams and across sites
Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
Proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards
Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
