Tell me more! This unique opportunity is designed for an emerging Occupational Therapist who is eager to develop their skills while contributing to rural health outcomes. You will begin your career development journey with Torres and Cape HHS in a permanent HP3 classification, with the view of securing a HP4 permanent position upon completion of the Rural Development Pathway competencies.
If you make the move to a Torres and Cape remote location, you may be eligible for up to $70,000 in relocation benefits. Please refer to the guideline located on the Attraction Incentives website to view eligibility and conditions.

Key Benefits of the Rural Development Pathway:

• Comprehensive Support: Participate in regular, formal supervision to guide your development.
• Intensive Development Plan: Engage in training activities designed to help you excel in rural health practice.
• Funded Rural Generalist Education Program: Undertake an approved education program, fully funded by Torres and Cape HHS, ensuring you build the skills needed for rural generalist practice.
• Dedicated Training Time: Allocate a minimum of 8 hours per fortnight to structured training and development activities, ensuring your growth is supported and sustained.

• Complete training and development activities as outlined in your Intensive Development Plan.
