As a Casual Podcast Producer/Editor, you will be responsible for the production and editing of podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality audio and compelling content. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with a keen interest in podcasting and social media. You will work closely with our team to bring our vision to life and help us reach our audience effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce podcast episodes, including audio cleaning, mixing, and mastering.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and structure episodes.
• Manage podcast production schedules and deadlines.
• Enhance podcast episodes with intro/outro music, sound effects, and other elements as needed.
• Assist with uploading episodes to various podcast platforms and managing episode metadata.
• Create and manage content for social media promotion related to the podcast.
• Stay updated on trends in podcasting, mental health, and self-love to incorporate fresh ideas into the show.

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate or relevant experience in podcast production and editing.
• Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, Garage Band).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
• Passion for mental health, self-love, and personal development.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with podcast hosting platforms and analytics.
• Graphic design skills for social media content.
• Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
