State Development and Infrastructure
Principal Project Officer

- Develop and implement projects to support the Queensland Government's industry development strategies across aerospace, defence, space and maritime sectors
- Establish, develop and manage effective networks of internal and external stakeholders including government, industry, the research sector and the community to deliver results in line with the Queensland Government's industry development strategies for the aerospace, defence, maritime, and space sectors
- Research, analyse and interpret current and emerging industry development issues relating to the defence, aerospace, space and maritime sectors
- Prepare business cases, reports, submissions, briefings and correspondence
- Provide advice and options on policy development, strategy, project plans and sectoral trends relating to the defence, aerospace, space and maritime sectors and related industry development opportunities
- Provide clear and concise reports on delivery milestones and manage associated risks
- Provide assistance and direction to clients and stakeholders regarding industry development initiatives including arrangements for participation in targeted trade shows and events as well as government assistance mechanisms
