About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provde high level, professional and confidential administrative and executive support services and assistance to the Heart & Lung Clinical Stream Metro North Health. This position is required to organise and monitor the administrative operations of the Heart & Lung Clinical Stream to assist in achieving organisational goals and objectives.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Act as the primary point of contact for the Heart & Lung Clinical Stream with all internal and external stakeholders for incoming and outgoing communication.
• Perform professional and confidential secretarial support by preparing and coordinating high level meeting agendas (generating and distributing relevant documents (reports, correspondence etc), recording and circulating minutes and follow up of action items.
• Research, coordinate and prepare draft correspondence, briefing papers, ministerial requests for information, reports, submissions and recommendations on complex and sensitive matters, complaint investigations, and associated information and general enquires on behalf of the Heart & Lung Clinical Stream, to ensure quality and timeliness of relevant correspondence across MNHHS and escalate issues accordingly.
• Develop, monitor and review systems and processes to accommodate the demanding environment and ensure the smooth workflow in the Office of the Executive, with an emphasis on organisational consistency and administrative processes and associated advice.
