Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Barwon Water, Geelong
Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time and On Call positions available!
Hourly Rate: $40.91/hour + Super
Start: ASAP
Contract: 6 months

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organised Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations at our Geelong office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Management:
    • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees with a warm and professional demeanor.
    • Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate departments or individuals.
    • Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meeting room bookings.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
    • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
    • Maintain office supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Customer Service:
    • Address and resolve inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Provide information about Barwon Water services, policies, and procedures.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Ensure the reception area is tidy, organized, and welcoming.
    • Assist with maintaining office equipment and reporting any issues to the facilities team.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role will be highly regarded
  • Skills:
    • Verbal and written communication skills.
    • Organisational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Familiarity with office equipment (phones, printers, copiers).
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Friendly and approachable with a professional appearance.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
