Belmont Hospital offers exciting career opportunities in both acute and sub-acute care settings. Our Acute Medical Unit provides a dynamic 13-bed environment supported by a strong multi-disciplinary allied health team, with close collaboration with our CCU and Surgical Unit. We offer a small, personal team atmosphere, robust education programs, and career progression, including team leader roles. In our Sub-Acute Care setting, you’ll be part of a 16-bed Geriatric Rehab Ward and a 4-bed Stroke Unit, benefiting from a dedicated allied health team and the flexibility to pick up extra shifts across a 7-day roster. Both roles provide significant opportunities for career advancement and professional development within our welcoming and light-filled facility. Our dynamic education team provides comprehensive nursing education and training, allowing staff to enhance their core nursing skills and develop advanced specialty skills relevant to their practice. Clinical Nurse Educators are available for on-the-spot education and support, facilitating the implementation of best practices. Requirements and additional information:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.
