Join the Venues Gold Coast Sport and Recreation team as a Senior Recreation Services Officer, where you'll play a vital role in supporting local sporting organisations and community groups. You'll provide crucial guidance to community facility lessees in delivering projects, governance, and grant support, ensuring their long-term sustainability. Additionally, you'll help shape the future of sport, recreation, and community facilities, focusing on optimising facility use, membership, and operations. Your contributions will directly support the Gold Coast Sport and Physical Activity Strategy 2022-2032, empowering more people to lead more active lifestyles.

We're looking for people who have:
• A strong passion for sport, combined with hands-on experience.
• An understanding of sporting organisations and community groups, with knowledge of club management, administration, and operations.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• A team player who excels in collaborative environments, yet also works effectively independently.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
• Experience in managing projects, with an understanding of community leasing principles and practices preferred.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritise effectively.
