Workplace Technology Analyst

Position Overview
Reporting to the Head of Workplace Technology, you’ll be working in our Service Futures Group, a fast-paced, dynamic and rewarding environment. We seek a highly skilled and versatile Workplace Technology Analyst. The ideal candidate will provide remote and onsite technical support to end-users for their Workplace Technology computing needs. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. This role necessitates to be onsite on a roster or when required.

Your key responsibilities
Key areas of responsibility include:

Provide Service Desk support to end-users via phone, face to face via Tech Lounge, email, and remote access tools to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop operating systems, applications, and software patches.
Manage and maintain end-user accounts, security permissions, and access to network resources.
Deploy new hardware and software to end-users, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and maintain best practices for desktop computing and audio-visual systems.
Provide support for mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.
Manage inventory of hardware and software assets and ensure that they are properly tracked, maintained, and disposed of.
Conduct quality assurance testing on new hardware and software before end-user deployment.
To be available on a rotating roster to be on call after hours.

What we’re looking for

Service desk telephone support experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems Windows 10/11
Troubleshooting experience with all aspects of Microsoft 365 (admin portal, permissions, calendar sharing, delegation)
Experience troubleshooting all hardware and peripheral issues.
Experience using an Active Directory environment

The full-time salary range from $88,557 – $94,883 per annum, dependent on experience, plus 12% superannuation
