About the Position

Your Responsibilities

• Performing a due diligence check on new investors as part of the onboarding process (requesting KYC information and documentation, reviewing and verifying received documentation and performing risk assessment)
• Periodically reviewing existing investors
• Preparing KYC documents on Speedinvest and/or its Funds upon request
• Maintaining the company’s KYC database by performing regular checks and clean-ups
• Implementing and maintaining the company’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies, procedures and controls to always reflect current regulatory requirements
• Preparing and executing the yearly AML control plan
• Preparing the yearly AML risk analysis
• Providing training and support to employees on AML policies and procedures specific to AIFM operations
• Serving as the primary point of contact for internal auditors regarding AML matters

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Law, Business, Finance or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• In-depth knowledge of AML regulations and best practices, in particular focus areas of the Austrian regulator (FMA)
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• Experience with/ understanding of commonly used legal documentation, e.g. Firmenbuchauszug, Wi EREG, Articles of Association, Shareholder Registers, etc. (in Austria and other jurisdictions)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Desire to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization. You possess a “can-do” attitude and take initiative
• Dedicated work ethic and commitment to a goal-oriented environment
• Fluency in both German and English
