As a Catering Operation Supervisor for a Central Kitchen, your role would likely include overseeing daily operations, ensuring food production is efficient, maintaining quality standards, managing kitchen staff, and coordinating with different departments to meet large-scale catering demands. Below are some key responsibilities that might be associated with the role:
Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Oversight:

Supervise daily production and catering operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Coordinate kitchen workflow and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

• Quality and Safety Control:

Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations.
Oversee quality control checks to ensure food products meet company and client standards.

• Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely ordering and replenishment.
Ensure proper storage and handling of all perishable goods.

• Staff Management:

Schedule and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, prep workers, and other personnel.
Provide training, guidance, and feedback to ensure team efficiency and adherence to protocols.

• Coordination with Clients:

Liaise with clients or event organizers to understand catering requirements and customize offerings accordingly.
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of catering orders for events or corporate clients.

• Cost Control:

Monitor production costs and manage kitchen budget effectively to reduce waste and control expenses.

• Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure all operations comply with food safety, health, and safety regulations.
