This role involves leading the accounting team, preparing detailed financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
#### Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Audit: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and strategic planning.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the organization's financial stability and growth.
#### Qualifications:
- Education; Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
- Experience: 6 to 12 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 to 5 years in a managerial role.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
