SCOPE OF WORK
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electronics ELV Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate should have a background in electronics, chip level or component level servicing of electronic products.
QUALIFICATION
EDUCATION: MINIMUM DIPLOMA / DEGREE QUALIFIED WITH STRONG PRACTICAL ELECTRONICS EQUIPMENT’S SERVICE KNOWLEDGE.
EXPERIENCE: MINIMUM 2 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE AS ELECTRONICS REPAIR TECHNICIAN, WITH GULF EXPERIENCE AND GCC DRIVING LICENSE
FAMILIAR WITH TEST INSTRUMENTS LIKE MULTI METER, OSCILLOSCOPE, POWER SUPPLIES, ETC.
GOOD KNOWLEDGE IN FUNDAMENTALS OF ELV SYSTEMS SUCH AS CCTV, ACCESS CONTROL, INTRUSION ALARM SYSTEMS AND SMART HOME PRODUCTS.
SKILLS:
- BASIC COMPUTER AND NETWORKING KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED
- GOOD VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILL IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
- ABILITY TO CARRY OUT DETAILED WRITTEN AND ORAL INSTRUCTIONS.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Validate warranty eligibility of faulty products.
2. Perform functional test of CCTV and other security system products.
3. Test and troubleshoot the product failures as required.
4. Provide detailed report on the reasons for failures identified during the component level troubleshooting.
5. Follow all manufacturer recommended instructions to perform testing and repair processes.
6. Perform board level soldering and identifying and replacement of faulty component and replace of hardware components as needed.
7. Follow and improve RMA procedure as per company and vendor policy.
8. Discuss the problems encountered while troubleshooting with other technical staffs and recommend solutions to improve work efficiency.
9. Escalate product and process issues to management and help with problem resolution.
10. Communicate RMA updates to management.
11. Keep records for RMA requests and detailed reports for each products.
12. Responsible for the product packaging to send for replacement claims
13. Responsible for quality control, Clean and maintain safe work areas
14. Communicate with other team members and manufacturer for follow ups.
15. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Pay: BD300.000 per month
