Position: Senior Technical Engineer (Full-Time)
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Technical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our organization’s success. Your key responsibilities will include:
– Preparing quotations for various partners’ products and services for our discerning clientele.
– Collaborating on turnkey lab projects with an assigned team to ensure seamless execution.
– Monitoring the progress and status of all order cases, demonstrating a keen sense of urgency.
– Strategically sourcing, selecting, and negotiating the best purchase packages for projects, considering quality, price, terms, deliveries, and services.
– Managing the preparation and processing of purchase orders, maintaining meticulous records.
– Following up on quotations, purchase orders, and deliveries, resolving any issues with the logistics team.
– Adapting to the company’s product portfolio, analyzing the market, and devising sales strategies to maintain existing clients and explore new business opportunities.
– Addressing customer issues related to quotations, orders, and deliveries with professionalism and efficiency.
– Providing support in the preparation and submission of tenders or contracts.
– Assisting the sales team with assigned cases and coordinating technical trainings.
– Facilitating vendor registration for new customers and ensuring updates as necessary.
– Supporting various administrative tasks assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
– An Engineering degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering or Mechatronics.
– A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the same field.
– Experience in industrial lab systems and equipment.
– Working knowledge of process automation and electrical systems to understand customer project requirements.
– Familiarity with logistics is a plus.
– Competency in Microsoft Office products, especially advanced Microsoft Word and Excel.
– Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English.
– Willingness to travel when required to visit partners or customers.
– Positive disposition, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth business environment.
– Proficiency in spoken and written Business English (Required).
– Spoken Arabic (will be an added advantage).
