Discover the role
As an Associate Accountant, you step into a world of engaging client relationships. In our dynamic A&T department, you are the right hand of the Senior Accountant, meticulously handling financial and administrative matters. Within this professional team, you assume the responsibility and challenge of maintaining client files in impeccable condition, both financially and legally.
Key Responsibilities
- Showcase your expertise in the timely and accurate processing of daily accounting tasks for a diverse client portfolio;
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, following Belgian GAAP, Fund GAAP, IFRS, or customized reporting packages upon your clients' requests;
- Analyze financial reports and generate insights;
- Handle daily administrative tasks related to the client portfolio, including meticulous management of bank accounts, payment processing, and effective correspondence;
- Provide guidance and assessment to junior accountants;
- Prepare VAT returns, withholding tax returns, corporate income tax returns, and other essential documentation;
- Communicate effectively and punctually with your clients, property managers, tax advisors, and other external parties.
- You hold a Belgian master's or bachelor's degree in accountancy;
- You have approximately 2-3 years of practical experience in a similar role;
- You possess the ability to work independently with a hands-on mentality;
- You communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills are your strengths;
- You are fluent in English, French, and/or Dutch with excellence in both written and verbal communication.
