Field Engineer for Farm Machinery Maintenance- Antwerp and Brussels, Belgium

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer to support our customer locations between Antwerp and Brussels. This role focuses on ensuring that all farm machinery operates at peak efficiency, thereby minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machinery maintenance, with expertise in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, and will be fluent in Dutch and French.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance and repair work on various farm machinery, including tractors, harvesters, and other agricultural equipment.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to resolve problems effectively.
3. Implement preventative maintenance measures to enhance machinery reliability and longevity.
4. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests, providing timely solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
5. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure all machinery operates according to specifications and adheres to safety standards.
6. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
7. Provide training and support to customer staff on proper machinery operation and basic troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in machinery maintenance, preferably within an agricultural or industrial setting.
Proven expertise with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Proficiency in using a range of hand and power tools.
Good communication skills in Dutch and French are mandatory.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
