We are seeking a highly skilled HP Non Stop Systems Engineer to provide support to our customer. This role is critical for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the HP Non Stop infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance for mission-critical applications. The position is hybrid. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be proficient in English.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage, configure, and maintain HP Non Stop systems (Tandem) to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
2. Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure system health.
3. Install, patch, and upgrade HP Non Stop systems, ensuring minimal downtime during maintenance.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues related to HP Non Stop systems.
5. Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard systems from threats.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HP Non Stop systems with other IT infrastructure.
7. Provide technical support and issue resolution for HP Non Stop environments on an as-needed basis.
8. Develop and maintain system documentation, including procedures, configuration settings, and issue logs.
9. Support disaster recovery planning and execution.
10. Monitor and optimize the performance of database subsystems, file systems, and network connections on HP Non Stop platforms.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in working with HP Non Stop (Tandem) systems in a similar role.
2. Strong understanding of Non Stop operating systems, system administration, and infrastructure management.
3. Familiarity with networking protocols and security measures related to HP Non Stop systems.
4. Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery for HP Non Stop platforms.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication skills with proficiency in English.
7. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment.
8. Certification in HP Non Stop systems (preferred but not required).
