Function
Are you a driven HR professional ready for a dynamic role where you can make a difference?TML Ghent is looking for an HR Business Partner to join our HR team. In this position, you will form the bridge between the operations of our four sites in the Ghent Seaport and the HR team.
Some of your responsibilities:
  • You will be involved in the implementation of the daily operational HR activities. Each site has its own accents with a strong focus on blue collars.
  • You guide managers in various HR practices (focus on performance and absenteeism policy), anticipate the needs from the business and work out the necessary actions for this.
  • You support the recruitment process from start to finish in cooperation with the various stakeholders.
  • You ensure a warm onboarding and smooth integration of new colleagues, acting as our employees' first point of contact for HR-related questions.
  • You think proactively about the challenges within our company and are able to suggest improvements.
  • You take the lead in the implementation of new HR projects launched within your sites and work closely with the other HR colleagues.

What we expect from you:
  • You are an HR professional with at least 3 years' experience in a comparable position.
  • Communication is your strong asset, allowing you to interact effectively between different employees, managers and external parties.
  • You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English. French is definitely a plus. You are also creative in communicating with people who are less fluent in Dutch/English.
  • You like to keep your finger on the pulse and do not lose sight of priorities.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-changing environment where involvement, accessibility and responsibility are your core values.
  • You are able to build lasting relationships with various stakeholders.
