IT Business Analyst - Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic IT Business Analyst to provide support to our customer and play a critical role in aligning business objectives with technology solutions by collaborating with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and working closely with their IT team to implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Gather and document business requirements through meetings, interviews, and workshops with key stakeholders.
2. Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend technology solutions.
3. Translate business needs into technical specifications for the development and implementation teams.
4. Collaborate with developers, systems architects, and project managers to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
5. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that implemented systems meet the defined specifications.
6. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to users post-implementation.
7. Create detailed documentation, including business process flows, system requirements, use cases, and user stories.
8. Assist in project planning, scoping, and change management activities to ensure successful project delivery.
9. Act as a liaison between the business units and IT, ensuring clear communication and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
10.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to advise the business on potential IT solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role working on IT projects.
3. Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and project management principles.
4. Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools ([*****], BPMN, UML, Visio).
5. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Familiarity with agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
8. Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
9. Relevant certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English, French and Dutch is mandatory.
