Nickel has launched its activities in Belgium in June 2022 with the objective to reach 300.000 accounts and 1.300 Points of Sale within 6 years, and is now looking for its new Marketing Officer
About the Position
The OPC is part of the Operational Control team and reports to the CFO of Nickel Belgium. The position is based in Brussels.
The Operational Permanent Control Officer implements and maintains the risk management and control system. He/She operates in accordance with the internal policies, procedures and guidelines issued by the independent control functions (Risk, Compliance & Legal) and in compliance with regulatory requirements and external control.
The Operational Permanent Control Officer of Ni CKEL Belgium is primarily responsible for:

• Identification, evaluation and management of Operational Risks,
• Management of historical incidents and external incidents,
• Organization and procedure,
• Controls and controls plan,
• Action plan, recommendations and permanent control actions,
• Alerts and Reporting,
• Governance and Committee,
• Awareness, training and consulting.

For the Operational Permanent Control Functions, the local OPC must be able to identify the critical controls to put in place and to ensure they are well done, on the timings and efficiently during all the activity.
About the Profile
The ideal candidate should have the following profile:

• At least 5 years experience in banking or payment industry with a control function background.
• French and English are mandatory, Flemish is a plus.
• Team player.
• Integrity & Accuracy.
• Independent.
• Capacity for analysis, synthesis and judgment.
• General knowledge of applicable regulatory framework.
