VANDEWIELE is an international group with 4000 employees, active worldwide in mechanical engineering and technology development.
The head office is located in Kortrijk and has 600 employees. Here, a hundred or so engineers are working daily to devise, conceptualise and develop innovative machine (optimisations) for the textile industry. Machine production is realised from A to Z in a state-of-the-art production environment.
The IT department in Kortrijk consists of more than 20 internal employees and is divided into 2 teams: infrastructure (networks & security, servers, virtual servers, storage, backup, Azure, Office 365 & Teams, clients, mobile clients) and business applications (CRM, ERP, CAD/PLM, CAD/CAM, MES/WMS). Together with IT suppliers, they are responsible for IT services at group level.
We are currently looking for a Project Manager Infrastructure & Cloud (M/F) to join our team.

Your role

As a hands-on project manager, you will join the IT infrastructure team. As a first step, you will join the team and get to know the various systems and solutions. After this introduction, you will be given responsibility for a number of IT infrastructure projects to help the organisation continue to grow and improve.

• You follow up projects from kick-off to closure. You analyse the needs, determine the scope and assess the impact and risks. All this from a pragmatic approach and hands-on mentality.
  
• You maintain good contact with all project stakeholders: users, team members, external suppliers and consultants. You manage the project team and guide them through the various phases and milestones.
• You manage the project planning, schedule tasks for the team members and follow them up. You also take on a number of substantive tasks yourself.
• Clear communication and reporting on your projects both within your own department and with stakeholders is a must. When adjustments are required, you identify these and can clearly substantiate them.
• During the implementation of your projects, you pay due attention to documentation and safety, so that subsequent support can be organised properly and work can be done safely.
• You organise the initial after-care for your projects until the solution is stable and the transfer to support has been completed. In this phase, you maintain an overview of the problem tickets and coordinate their resolution.

You report to the IT Manager Infrastructure.

Your profile

• You enjoyed a higher education in an IT-related field and have relevant work experience.
• You have operational or project experience with several of the following products and technologies:
  • Azure AD, Office 365, Exchange Online, Teams, One Drive, Share Point Online
  • Azure Cloud (networking, security, virtual servers, cloud services)
  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
  • Networking, network protocols, network switches, firewalls
  • Servers (Windows Server), storage, virtualisatie (VMWare), backup (Veeam)
  • Citrix Netscaler, virtual apps (Xen App), virtual desktop (Xen Desktop)
  • SCOM, SCCM, Intune
  • SQL Server
  • Powershell

• You are communicative and have a customer-oriented mindset.
• You are well organised and maintain an overview in complex situations.
• You are hands-on and are interested in learning the (basic) principles and operation of new systems or solutions yourself.
• You are a team player, but can also work independently.
• You are eager to learn and focused on self-development.
• You communicate fluently in English and Dutch and have notions of French.
• You are willing to travel short distances in Belgium and abroad.
