We are looking for a skilled Wind Turbine Technician with expertise in electromechanics and a strong commitment to safety. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of wind turbines, utilizing advanced electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment. You will play a crucial role in troubleshooting malfunctions and ensuring the efficient operation of wind turbines, all while adhering to the highest safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of wind turbines.
2. Manage advanced electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
3. Troubleshoot and report malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems.
4. Comply with site rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
5. Adhere to wind turbine safety rules and guidelines, completing all required documentation and reports.
6. Work according to the highest safety and environmental standards.
7. Complete all computerized documentation accurately.
8. Participate in emergency on-call service on weekends and night shifts (on rotation).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics or equivalent experience.
2. Previous experience working on wind turbines is highly advantageous.
3. A valid driver's license (Category B) is essential.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
5. High flexibility and mobility with a willingness to travel across the country.
6. Positive and proactive approach to teamwork, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
7. Physically fit and comfortable with heights.
8. Good computer skills.
9. Problem-solving mindset and a strong sense of responsibility.
