Core Responsibilities:

• Review installation plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements, layout configurations, and design details.
• Prepare installation sites by measuring and marking wall and floor surfaces, ensuring proper alignment and spacing for cabinetry and fixtures.
• · Safely transport cabinets, hardware, and tools to installation sites, ensuring proper handling and protection of materials during transit.
• Install cabinets, shelving units, countertops, and other furniture pieces according to design specifications, industry standards, and building codes.
• Secure cabinets to wall studs and floor joists using appropriate fasteners and hardware, ensuring stability, levelness, and proper alignment.
• Trim, shim, and adjust cabinets as needed to accommodate irregularities in walls, floors, or architectural features.
• Install hardware, such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides, ensuring proper alignment, functionality, and aesthetic appearance.
• Caulk seams, gaps, and joints to create a seamless and finished look, using appropriate sealants and finishing materials.
• Inspect completed installations for quality defects, damage, or discrepancies, making adjustments or repairs as needed to meet standards.
• Clean up installation sites, remove debris, and ensure proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent education required; vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry, cabinetry, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a cabinet installer, finish carpenter, or construction tradesperson, with a portfolio demonstrating quality installations.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, woodworking tools, and installation methods used in cabinetry and furniture assembly.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications for installation projects.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship with precision and accuracy.

Flexible hours are required. Overnight accommodations provided when required.
