TITLE: Coordinator, Destinations

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Quote and book hotel changes, extensions, and termination of holiday, and north bound seat sales for all SUN destinations.
• Support suppliers in Europe
• Obtain and process payment for modifications and sales at destination.
• Provide support to destination representatives regarding emergencies with passengers.
• Provide Hotel booking list, air manifest, transfer manifest for arrivals and departures to destination representatives.
• Provide ticketing assistance.
• Management of IROPS
• Assist our team in case of any Hurricane/ force majeure
• Assist destination representatives when there is a schedule change, and passengers are already in their destination.
• Day to day operational emails with destination as well as internal departments
• Monitor emails and ensure they are being handled correctly and in a timely manner.
• Handling of prevention files when passengers are at their destination.
• Work with destination representatives to resolve customer complaints and avoid future claims.
• Verify no-shows sent by representatives, do follow ups, and adjust tickets in ARD
• Provide operational coaching to all destination reps during the season.
• Must be available to work a rotation weekend shift.
• Support on call Duty officer by providing any reports (pax in house/ air manifest/ arrival and departure manifest/Dispatches) as needed.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Diploma in tourism or equivalent
• Computer knowledge: Excel, Word, Outlook
• 2-years minimum of experience with a tour operator
• Must demonstrate accuracy, initiative; judgement and act in a confidential manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively – written and verbal.
• Knowledge of English and French.
• Spanish is an asset
