Armour Security & Protection Services Corporation (ASPS) is the fastest growing and result-oriented company in BC. ASPS provides Security Guard Services, Mobile patrol, Event Security Guard Services, Alarm Response, Concierge Services, Bike Patrol, Parking Enforcement, Loss Prevention Officers, Bodyguard Services, and much more. At this time, we are looking to hire a long-term and full-time security guard.
Location: Campbell River, BC
Schedule: Weekdays and Weekends
Hours: 40 hours
Pay: $24.00 an hour (including vacation pay)
Requirements: BST LICENSE (Security License) and AST License
Job Description:
  • Play an active role in patrolling assigned job sites
  • Play an active role in identifying, monitoring, and reporting security threats
  • Respond appropriately to fire alarms, threats, and emergency situations in a quick and timely manner
  • Thorough knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada and Provincial Statutes
  • Use our E- Armour Software Apps on a Smartphone to file, daily reports, incident reports, etc.
  • Use our E-Armour Software to scan the patrol checkpoints
  • LPO work

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to follow rules of conduct and take leadership roles as required
  • Reliable and highly punctual
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written)
  • Loss prevention experience
