As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Payroll Administrator to join our team and contribute to our success.
Position Overview:
As part of the HR team, the Payroll Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring prompt and accurate payroll submissions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who learns quickly and thrives in a fast-paced environment with constant change. This position reports to the Director of HR.
Responsibilities:
· Timely process US and Canadian payroll using ADP Workforce Now
· Calculate supplemental pay (commission/tips/layover) on a biweekly and monthly basis
· Run post-payroll reports and process benefits funding
· Create benefits invoices for the accounting team and ensure billings are correct, payments are made, and eligible employees are enrolled in benefits
· Communicate with benefits partners when questions arise
· Prepare reports and information as needed to reply to auditor or management requests
· Assist employees with personal info changes, timecard edits, and questions regarding pay
· Assist with documentation and improving processes and procedures
· Assist with retrieving resumes through job posting sites
· Assist with onboarding and off-boarding employees
· Perform other duties as assigned

Education Required:
· 4-year business or accounting degree
· 2 years’ experience in an equivalent position

Job Type: Full-time, year-round
Compensation: $28 - $32 per hour depending on experience
Location: Victoria, BC downtown office
Ability to commute/relocate: Reliably commute to our office in downtown Victoria, BC
Schedule: 8 hour shift – Monday through Friday – ability to work from home one day a week after training period.
Travel: Ability to travel between Victoria, BC and Seattle, WA preferred but not required
