Overview:
Modus is the only company in Western Canada laser-focused on the design, build and delivery of offsite construction solutions for commercial and residential construction projects in our Crossfield plant.
Modus is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Installer to join our team. As an Sheet Metal Installer, you will be responsible for installing ducting rough ins, mechanical room equipment, installing finishes such as diffusers and vents. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Installing ducting according to specifications and blueprints
- Installing various types of equipment such as furnaces, HRV'S, and ERV'S
- Repair or replace defective equipment or components
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient installation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Installer or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to fabricate and program HVAC systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
