Main Tasks:-

[Prepare business reports (site management inclusive) and maintain BASF application]:

• Reports prepared punctually and accurately
• Provide necessary, as required reports to management on time. (e.g. P&L report, FMC report, Product costing report, Capex report, ICTP report and other analysis report etc.)
• Role as variant BASF application gate keeper on site, e.g., Contract management database, COINS (cost consolidated reporting and analysis), ICTP, MARIS, Ocean, CARAT, SCII, etc.

[Support site CAPEX (small investment or potential regional/global project)]:

• Manage annual small investment planning
• Manage potential regional or global projects planning taking place under PM in BAPN, in alignment with regional/Global counterparts
• Analyze small investment cost development, number of CAPEX and make sure budget under control
• Setup and on-going support to project application and closing, for example project capital injection, project tax refund coordination, project equipment custom duty-free register, etc.
• Deliver relevant training, build up site team knowledge on Finance

[Supervise BU/FU/Company Operational Planning, Business Analysis]:

• Manage OMP operation planning process, cost budget and production planning in alignment with the region
• Ensure that standard costing are done in compliance with BASF accounting guidelines.
• Definition, target setting and monitoring of KPIs in the site Organization
• Monthly report fixed cost, variable cost and cost of sales comparison BGT/ACT/FC and information to management and site other departments
• Site all cost center gate keeper including cost set up and allocation key update
• Monitor and report result of Manufacturing, Maintenance, Infrastructures, WWTP & utilities.
• Support various stock taking in the site organization
• Set up company level VBM and KPI and work with plant managers on constant improvement in plant costs
• Supervise business planning role in merchandised business inventory level establishment, sales forecast with sales team, and define the product portfolio created among segments sales
• Monthly monitoring functional cost allocation from GB/GD from BCH/SE and perform analysis via comparison BGT/ACT/FC

[Responsible for OMP manufacturing cost and allocation key analysis]:

• Monitor the process order settlement rate and close the order in urgent case
• Monitor/analyze company manufacturing cost development (e.g. utilities, infrastructure, waste water, indirect service charge, direct cost, etc.)
• Monitor BOM, recipes, business process to make sure process order properly operated.
• Cross BU/plant cost allocation agreement for shared costs (idle cost, cost difference, etc.)
• Monitor material price (PUP price, standard price, make investigation on significant price fluctuation, etc.)
• Check SAP cost estimate before month end costing run
• Support Op Ex (Operational Excellence Measures) by validating and challenging benefits provided by site managers for Op Ex

[Compliance]:

• Enforce financial policies and internal control procedures in BAPN
• Coordinate both internal and external audits (e.g., CEQ, Project audit A/W, operation audit, FRC audit, KPMG. FX, tax, customs, supplier auditor, including follow up case)
• Advice site colleagues on compliance matters
• Support ICTP filing, closely monitor ICTP, alert potential risk caused by ICTP and provide measures to eliminate the risks
• Work with other related teams to monitor Social Credit Rating, and communicate with BAPN MD timely
• SAP authorization gate keeper for BAPN
• Contract management database and documentation for signed by local site in ICM

[Teamwork and Interface Management]:

• Teamwork with other related teams, e.g., SAP team, logistic team, R&D team, maintenance team.
• Acting as interface between China Finance / Tax / Legal / BSSCKL and Sales / Marketing team to support business development

[Remote site controlling additional Tasks]:

• Provide training and guidance to site accountant
• VAT and CIT subsidy application yearly
• Accurately and timely feedback the information according to government's requirement. ensure BAPN above A or B level company in Tax credit rating.
• To respond to the requirements of Tax Bureau of Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Area as a site coordinator

[BU controlling]

• Monthly Consolidation CN fixed cost, variable cost and cost of sales comparison BGT/ACT/FC covering PMA related 10 legal entities
• PMA CN EBITbsi analysis by comparison BGT/ACT/FC and prepare fixed costs full year forecast to sub-region controlling and RBU
• Provide rebate guidance /procedure/training to PMA CN commercial team, review rebate contracts, provide advice term in payment term etc.
• Material cost checking, mainly focus on COBUS consolidated report cost checking and margin monitor on BU level. Derive recommendations for countermeasures in case of deviation

Main Requirements:-

• Education: Bachelor degree or above
• Working Experience: Around 5 years working experience
• Technical & Professional Knowledge: Strong analysis competence, transversal relations skills
• Language: Fluent English in oral and in written
