Description

Lead and oversee the Medical and Safety Sciences department, ensuring the development and implementation of innovative strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives. - Provide expert guidance and support to cross-functional teams in the areas of medical and safety sciences, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, industry associations, and scientific communities.
- Drive the development and execution of clinical development plans, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality clinical data.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of external vendors and partners, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in all aspects of medical and safety sciences.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Lead and drive the medical and safety sciences function to achieve organizational objectives in alignment with the Role, general summary, and Duties.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to major initiatives in the Future of Self Care, leveraging insights from the top responsibilities.
Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline. - Minimum of 10-12 years of related experience in medical and safety sciences, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- Expert knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in clinical development and safety sciences.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
- Strong leadership influence competencies, exceptional scientific curiosity, and ability to partner effectively across a diverse set of business partners and stakeholders to deliver key goals/milestones in a timely manner, leveraging insights from top requirements.
- Entrepreneurial; Business owner mindset, willing to be hands-on and contribute as one team, and ability to develop and work within agile processes and business frameworks.
