- He/She will be responsible for setting up the global procurement processes for direct and indirect spend at the current Oerlikon Metco JV2 China site, in compliance with Oerlikon standards, ensuring transparency of spending, supplier management, category management, market research, potential vendors evaluation, cost and scenario analysis, benchmarking, risk evaluation and risk minimizing techniques.
- He/She will also be involved in a cross-functional working environment to engage key stakeholders, utilizing the designated suppliers, as well as other internal departments who are involved in strategy-setting.
- He/She will ensure proper contract coverage together with corporate sourcing Team and Local teams .
- He/She will use his/her procurement expertise and knowledge to enhance procurement skills of colleagues and wider skills on negotiation and vendor management.
- He/she will also collaborate with multiple project leads/managers to provide consolidated reporting and performance metrics and initiate improved business processes.
- He/She will be responsible of new supplier onboarding after due diligence as per Oerlikon processes . He/ She will manage and provide “change management” information to Oerlikon group in terms any changes in supply chain ( Raw material / process / location at supplier level )
