Regional Marketing Manager – Elastomers, PAC This person is responsible for assessing market needs and trends to identify new opportunities to establish an elastomers marketing strategy for the Pacific. Develop, communicate and execute market segment strategies and marketing plans for Transportation and Infrastructure markets. They will coordinate with other functional roles such as Technology, Sales, Product Management, Marketing and Operations, EHS and Product Stewardship. Introduce new products to the market that will grow the Elastomers segment. Creating and driving Annual Growth Programs for the Elastomers business with a focus on Transportation and Infrastructure, with emphasis on meeting financial commitments for focused growth programs and New Product Introductions (NPI) within China & South Pacific providing leadership and support to other Pacific Countries.

• Delivering market revenue and contribution margin for Annual Operating Plan, Growth Programs and 1- 3 year New Product Introductions (NPI)
• Launch Packages for NPIs with Sales forecasts and growth plans developed.
• Exploring new applications and Industries where Silicone Materials have strong value propositions.

• Increase Elastomer Sales within specific target markets of Transportation and Infrastructure
• Drive business development through new customers, new applications, new products (NPI’s)
• Provide product technical and application support at the customer
• Develop network with other commercial functions in the USA, EMEA and APAC
• Manage product developments from concept to commercialization
• Coordinate with Pole Commercial Leaders to create and execute China and South Pacific's Annual Growth Programs to meet financial commitments.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of our customers segment trends, application and manufacturing technologies, industry regulations, and our customers’ position in the value chain.
• Drive activities such as new product launches, pricing, customer presentations, bid support and customer user groups leveraging global Marketing organization. Align with Marketing, Sales and Technology leaders to develop specific value propositions to maximize the new and existing products to maximize growth & profits.
• Provide assistance to the Global Marketing Director in the creation and execution of the Strategic Business Plans Globally & Regionally.
• Develop strong relationships within the Industry that position Momentive for new opportunities.
• Drive Voice of Customer activities that result in the enhancement of our program / product portfolio while validating new, sustainable differentiated opportunities.
• Work with R&D and ADE functions to drive product development timelines and transition new commercial business to sales organization

• Minimum 5 years experience in silicone elastomers related industry in role e.g. sales, marketing or technical marketing.
• Minimum 1-2 years of direct Automotive Industry experience preferred
• Able to work independently & initiatively. e.g. make calls on potential customers by themselves.
• Strong technical aptitude and knowledge base as it relates to field of elastomers
• Ability to work with broad range of customer contacts, i· Energized and ability to energize others
• Ability to take into consideration changing customer needs, market dynamics and application CTQ’s when developing/offering material technology recommendations/solutions
• Experienced/knowledgeable in material specifications and the fundamental technical understanding of key material properties as it relates to said specifications
• Ability to conduct research and marketing studies to assist in the development and conceptualization of new concepts and technologies as it relates to Transportation and Infrastructure
• Ability to engage effectively with team to share experiences, insight, and peer coaching
• Possess the ability to influence others, implement change, and standardize processes in an ever-changing landscape

• B.S in chemistry, chemical engineering, polymer science and/or related field
