Assurance of financial objective fulfillments and compliance with tax, legal issues based on local and international standards and according with the corporate policies, guidelines, and compliance program.

Responsible to lead direct or indirect assign personnel to execute their function with the required knowledge and capacities in a professional environment, performance oriented, fostering accountability, diversity, and commitment to B. Braun.

Duties and responsibilities

• Support business development with adequate credit collection management to customers, ensuring a positive cash flow.
• Treasury management and bank / financial institutions relation management.
• Lead, coordinate, and supervise all accounting, statutory and tax activities in compliance with local/global regulation and corporate guideline.
• Assuring liabilities to customs and tax authorities in collaboration with the Import & Export Department.
• Develop and oversee financial strategies and operations by analyzing financial information, making recommendations to improve performance, control and optimizing the cost, supporting decision-making, and developing efficient financial policies, procedures, systems, and internal controls.
• Facilitate by specific activities and improved processes to meet the company business objectives of growth, profitability and working capital management (cash flow, DSO, investment, liquidity, etc.) in accordance with regulations, principles, and standards of the organization and authorities.
• Responsible for the company’s financial reporting, planning, developing, implementing, and administering financial control and analysis which may affect the success of the company.
• Work in partnership with local support functions as well as regional Finance, auditors, tax advisors, government authorities, etc.
• Lead the IT area assuring the strategy, planning, change management, governance, business partner relationships, supplier management, and operations for Colombia and Ecuador.
• Lead the Integrated Management System area for both countries assuring processes, mitigating risk and implementing control for all legal entities.

Professional competencies

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or in a related subject. Master is seen as a plus.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• At least 5 years of experience on different management levels in the Financial and/or accounting fields. Preferable Working in a multinational context in Medical Devices, Pharma or Healthcare market.
• At least 5 years of experience managing high performance teams.
