The Role
As a CCA Material Buyer, the main challenge of the role will be to plan, coordinate, and lead the purchasing processes of the assigned commodity within the GMSA Operation for the Pacific Region (Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Peru, Uruguay), following corporate procedures to select the most suitable source of supply based on price, service, quality, and technology parameters, in order to meet the objectives defined in the budget regarding savings, profitability margin, launch dates, and supplier base optimization.
This buyer will be responsible for the procurement process of parts & accessories for the aftermarket segment. Develop and align the supplier strategy with our market, brands, and execution of contracts.

Key Responsabilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage business relationships with suppliers.
  
• Support the creation of market analysis and implement purchasing strategies.
  
• Define and implement cost-effective purchasing strategies and effective negotiation tactics.
  
• Continuously monitor the supply market and manage and optimize the supplier portfolio to ensure quality, cost efficiency, on-time delivery, sustainability, and compliance with contract terms and legal regulations.
  
• Negotiate prices and conditions within the context of GM policies and manage supplier contracts.
  
• Plan and follow up on commercial strategies with the Marketing and Supply Chain areas.
  
• Responsible for key performance indicators (KPIs).
