QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST
Responsible for conducting technical quality assurance inspections and using results to improve production processes and standards.
This position reports into QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR and is based at Yumbo Valle - Colombia.

What You Will Do
The QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST is responsible for:
Performs complex tests and analyses to assure that products comply with established specifications. Carries out difficult calculations and prepares documentation that shows the results of tests performed. Completes record of inspection results, acceptance, rejection and disposition. Enters data into log books or computer databases. Compiles data, prepares reports and carries out follow up on findings. Conducts scheduled calibration and maintenance on test equipment. Coordinates specialized product/customer quality sampling and testing. Prepares custom reports on results. Recommends and implements revisions, corrections and changes to test equipment, procedures and methods, also approval of these documents. Troubleshoots defective products detected in plant and for products returned by customers to determine root causes of failure. Compiles data to identify trends and proposes corrective action. Initiates and coordinates discussions with manufacturing, engineering and other relevant departments to develop corrective actions for reoccurring problems.
Execute the required activities complying with the procedures, regulatory and corporate requirements established in the Management System for the Environment, Safety and Health at work (EHS&S).

• Product Approval & Release

QP responsibility (Product disposition, BR review, Metrics, Query, etc)

• QA on the Shop Floor (GMP /DI/ MRAS inspection, OSI, Training, cleaning monitoring, etc)

• Complaints, INV, CAPA, GCC.

• Documentation (Spec, HV, inspection plans, SOP, FM / WI/ JOB)

Qualifications
What We Are Looking For

Years of work: Minimum 2 years related experience with QA Preferred, in either Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, OTC Drug, Cosmetic and/or Hygienic Products.

Industry Experience: Knowledge and execution of c GMP requirements.
Leadership Experience: Ability to communicate thoughts and ideas effectively – verbal and written.
Work Environment: Demonstrated ability to work on daily issues with direction. Able to interact with other Departments.
General Responsibilities: Applies quality assurance processes, procedures, and activities. Assists in investigations process or any CAPA. Delivers training on QA related topics. Identifies and escalates any OOS or any issue detected during their functions. Conducts trend analysis or evaluates documentation errors if applicable per country requirements.
Participates in continuous improvement projects under direction from supervisor
Communication: Assists in preparation of detailed summary communications on status of key initiatives and issues. Demonstrates ability to collaborate with internal partners to enhance relationships and interactions.
Accountability to Plant Results: Ensures release timeliness. Ensures timeliness of deliverables through proactive intervention. May own NCs, GCC, CAPA, action items or deliverables. Ensures metrics accomplishment related to their functions.
Systems Expertise: Conducts, executes and documents low risk and low complexity investigations and CAPAs. Ensure timeliness of deliverables through proactive intervention. Knowledge in Office, SAP (Quality Module), Symphony and others related.
Intellectual creativity: Troubleshoot low risk and low complexity quality/compliance issues, using experience, ingenuity, and creativity to provide solutions.
Continuous improvement: Under direction from management, implements quality and compliance improvement programs and initiatives, and participates in continuous improvement projects.
Analyzes data to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement
Scope of decisions: Takes routinely decisions in the base business.
nteraction with Health Authorities: Participates in regulatory inspections, acting as a support in back room operations Skills: Demonstrates attention to details. Demonstrates ability to accomplish work goals, with a daily direction and oversight.
Risk Management: Reviews compliance records, specifications, procedures and other documents, as required by procedure. Limited approval responsibilities.
Talent: Responsible for executing revisions to establish local procedures without impact to other functions or regions.


Training or certification in statistical techniques
Training in Power BI (Desirable)
knowledge in root cause analysis
Training in project implementation (jjps, etc)
