The Reporting & Controlling Professional oversees and ensures accurate, timely, and efficient reporting related to the financial situation of the factory. Is responsible for efficient tracking, controlling, and financial forecasting crucial for decision-making and process improvement at the Siemens Energy transformer factory in Colombia. Responsibilities include cost center monitoring, internal controls execution, and monthly closing.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Manages scheduled and ad hoc reporting needs of the organization.
• Monitoring and controlling of assigned cost centers, including identifying deviations and proposing corrective measures.
• Supports, coordinates, and drives the planning process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Interacts on a frequent basis with stakeholders in Head Quarters and corporate departments in the country and the region.
• Conducting month-end tasks such as cost reallocation and provision control.
• Performing monthly internal controls, detailed analysis for improvement, and financial results review.
• Managing currency risk and hedging operations.
• Supporting corporate strategy for bids and project execution, focusing on price escalation formula aligned with business objectives and strategies.
• Leading digital transformation through the implementation of digital control tools and promoting digitalization projects.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation to optimize efficiency.
• Executes complex data related analytical projects to drive business decisions and efficiencies.

What You Bring

• Professional degree in Finance or Accounting. Preferable finance specialization
• Minimum 4 years of experience in reporting and controlling roles.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems like SAP.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI).
• Advanced skills in KPI analysis, Excel, and Power Point, including the preparation of executive presentations.
• Fluent in English.
• High analytical capacity and attention to detail.
• Motivated in complex and changing environments, skills in conceptual work, self-management, and project management.
• Ability to communicate effectively in interdisciplinary and international teams, with strong interpersonal skills and presentation ability to management.
