Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an exceptional business development and solutions expert to identify, manage, and execute some of the largest, most complex and high impact industry solutions opportunities in Latin American Public Sector. This includes coordinating field sales, partners, and customer relationships. Responsibilities will include driving C-level relationships and execute GTM plans in Northern Latin America region.
This team acts a trusted advisor for our customers, both external and internal, and includes all aspects of delivering a solution to drive business outcomes. You will engage with senior leaders at AWS, and as a strategic leader within Public Sector Latin America, you will own the exciting opportunity to deliver accelerated adoption of AWS solutions with a customer business outcome lens. We are interested in connecting with innovators, who are both creative and analytical in approach, and can think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
As the Industry Strategic Pursuit Leader, you will think strategically and analytically about our customer's business and technical challenges and form innovative ideas to solve them. You have a keen sense of ownership and entrepreneurship, and, most importantly, you know how to earn trust, think big, and work cross-organizationally to deliver results. You influence others to follow with data and customer advocacy.
The right candidate will have experience managing complex projects aligned to large-scale transformation programs, and influencing executives to create bias for action, and long-term sustainable change. This includes a proven track record of developing industry-wide GTM programs, product management leadership, a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, strong data and metrics bias, a good understanding of cloud solutions with a passion for helping customers transform using cloud technologies.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop C-suite and line-of-business relationships within customer organization.
• Represent AWS best-practices with AWS Partners and build joint GTM motions focused on specific industry business capabilities.
• Influence and guide senior executives on innovation, cloud, and modern IT practices.
• Demonstrate commercial acumen to assist customers in building value propositions / business cases / supporting financial models.
• Define, guide and implement change programs leveraging solutions – governance, portfolio mix and business fit.
• Help develop and improve our execution model based on engagement experience.
• Participate in pre-sales customer visits to understand customer needs.
• Develop, propose, and deliver solution offerings and engagements with AWS Partners.
• Flexibility to travel to customer locations is important.
• End-to-end negotiation experience, including developing, and executing successful partnerships including strategic technology relationships.
• Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
• Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
